Book Oia Santorini sunset spot 1 hour early or sunrise 6am for empty blue domes, Lindos Rhodes 8am or 5pm for cooler climb, Knossos Crete 8am opening, Corfu Old Town evening light 6pm to 8pm, Milos Sarakiniko sunrise for white glow and Kleftiko boat morning for calm. Carry hat, water and cash for small site tickets, wear flat shoes for marble and cobbles, and visit May, early June or late September for 24 to 28 degrees and open sites without August 2 hour queues.
